Reflective Spaces is an umbrella for a variety of opportunities in Edinburgh for reflection and spiritual exploration, which I offer or am involved with. Rooted in a broad, inclusive, contemplative Christianity, the spaces and events detailed on this website are open to everyone, whatever your belief and wherever you are on your inner journey.
Trained in Spiritual Direction, Pastoral Supervision and Right use of Power I work on a freelance basis, meeting with people individually, in groups and through other projects, which awaken conversation and creativity around life and/or work.
As a Spiritual Director I trained with the Epiphany Group in Scotland, which is grounded in the Ignatian tradition. I am deeply grateful for the influence of this and other traditions, which continue to mesh together and gift me with practical approaches, core values and inner encounters that move me towards ‘finding God in all things’. I am interested in offering contemplative and creative ‘ways in’ to accompanying other spiritual pilgrims on their own inner journeys.
As a Pastoral Supervisor I am passionate about good supervision being a confidential opportunity for enriching transformational learning which can resource and support all in helping professions or work roles. I hold a Diploma in Cross-Professional Creative Supervision and Reflective Practice and adhere to the membership code of the Association of Pastoral Supervision and Education, for which I am Scottish regional contact. I hope this website may be one place to find out about the ‘reflective spaces’ I offer, as well as what is happening more widely around Edinburgh relating to spirituality and reflection. I also hope these opportunities themselves may be safe spaces to ask the deeper questions of life or work, and to grow in your experiences of God – however you may name or imagine the Divine.
